After fans raised a ruckus about the Charlie Brown holiday specials being moved off network TV, including circulating an online petition that went viral, the beloved animated half-hours are getting a return engagement on broadcast TV, which they have called home for the last half-century.

Apple TV+, which acquired the rights to the specials earlier this year, will let PBS and PBS KIDS air two of the upcoming specials, 1973’s “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” (Nov. 22, 7:30 EST, check local listings) and 1965’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” (Dec. 13, 7:30 EST, check local listings).
