Sacramento Soccer Day will be held today, Thursday, July 18, at Raley Field — an alliance to promote fun, active, healthy lifestyles among the thousands of children, soccer players and fans of all ages in the greater Sacramento region.

Presented by Sacramento Professional Soccer, LLC, the event will feature an exhibition game between the Reserve Team San Jose Earthquakes and Sacramento All-Stars, plus an exhibition game between the Norwich City Football Club of England’s Premier League and Mexico’s Dorados de Sinaloa.

The event’s second parter is the UC Davis Children’s Hospital. During the event, attendees can meet and talk to hospital representatives and participate in the Children’s Hospital Pre-Game Youth Chalk Talk, where youth soccer players and their parents can discuss soccer, health, and fitness.

Gates open at 4pm. Tickets can be purchased at the Raley Field Box Office through Ticketmaster.com or through SacProSoccer.com. Sacramento Professional Soccer will donate 50 cents from the proceeds of every ticket sold to the Children’s Hospital.
