In a clip that has to be in the running for 2015’s most awkward video, the Parks and Recreation star was approached by TNT reporter Danielle Demski on the red carpet at Sunday night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Demski praised the 38-year-old beauty’s plunging printed gown, gushing: “You look amazing — gorgeous! You look like you’ve just come off an island or something.”
She added: “You’re very tan, very tropical.”
However, while Rashida giggled nervously to accept the compliment, she noted her heritage by replying: “I mean, you know, I’m ethnic.”
