‘SNL’ adds Sasheer Zamata as newest cast member

She’s the first black female cast member since Maya Rudolph.

Sasheer Zamata has been named the newest cast member of Saturday Night Live, making her the sketch comedy’s first black female cast member since Maya Rudolph left the show in 2007.
