Teen Entrepreneur Opens Second Cookie Chris Store at Age 19
Chris Knight began baking cookies in 2021 while still a high school junior, and by age 16, he opened his first Cookie Chris store. The Williamsburg shop, which recently celebrated its second anniversary, bakes about 1,000 cookies daily and has become a local favorite.
Knight opened a second Cookie Chris location in Richmond, offering classic cookie flavors, ice cream, milkshakes, and exciting new options such as strawberry shortcake and the “Cookie Chris” special. The 19-year-old entrepreneur is expanding his business while studying at Morehouse College, an HBCU in Atlanta, maintaining a 4.0 GPA, Black Business reports.
