In the heart of Northern California’s serene landscapes, twin sisters Alex and Angelica Young brought a long-held vision to life: Camp Legacy, an overnight summer camp explicitly tailored for Black youth. Set to take place from June 20th to 22nd, this initiative aims to provide a transformative experience where campers can embrace the outdoors, build meaningful connections, and celebrate their cultural identity.

Alex and Angelica, both graduates of Oral Roberts University—Alex with a degree in Psychology and Angelica in Business Administration—have dedicated over a decade to working with Black and Brown youth in public charter schools across Sacramento and the Bay Area.
