Amazon will pay over $61.7 million dollars to the Federal Trade Commission following an investigation that revealed that for two and a half years the company failed to pay Amazon Flex drivers the full amount of tips they earned from Amazon customers.
The $61.7 million will be returned to Flex drivers and is equal to the full amount of tip money Amazon withheld.
