California reopens Dream For All Program, offering up to 20% down for first-time homebuyers

(FOX40.COM) — First-generation Californians hoping to buy their first home will soon get another shot at major down payment help with a popular program making a comeback.

The California Housing Finance Agency announced on Friday that it will reopen applications on Feb. 24 for its “Dream For All Shared Appreciation Loan program,” offering eligible buyers up to 20% of a home’s purchase price or appraised value for a down payment.

The website shows that the application window will close on March 16.
