Plans for the next Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) for Sacramento is under way, according to a newsletter sent out by the CHNA Team in March. Every three years nonprofit hospitals in the region conduct a CHNA and use the results to direct their community benefit programs that support the health and well-being of the area’s under-served communities through charity care, programs and grants.
