DID YOU KNOW? The Assembly District Election Meetings (ADEMs) are coming up on Jan 12th, Jan 13th and Jan 27th here in the Greater Sacramento Valley Region? The ADEMS are held every 2 years to elect 7 “self-identified female” and 7 “other than self-identified female” to be Assembly District Delegates (ADDs) to represent the Assembly District they are registered as a Democrat in.

AD Delegates to the Democratic State Central Committee (DSCC) are responsible for planning and attending informational meetings throughout the region and working with other DSCC delegates throughout California to represent their community.

AD Delegates are elected by voters (to participate in the ADEM you MUST be a registered Democrat in that Assembly District).

Sac Cultural Hub has endorsed the African American Democrats Coalition and is encouraging eligible voters to take time to GET OUT AND VOTE in the ADEMs Delegate Elections on Jan 12th, Jan 13th or Jan 27th depending upon which District you live.  Don’t know what district you live in? You can look it up here

2019 Assembly District Elections

As a member of BWOPA-Black Women for Political Action I’m excited to be informing you about the ADEMs (if you don’t know already). It is very important that you get out to vote and share this info with friends you know who are eligible voters. WHY? Assembly District Delegates help determine important decisions including voting on endorsement recommendations and developing and promoting the California State Democratic Party’s Platform and agenda.

Please SUPPORT the African American Democrats Coalition – WE NEED YOUR VOTE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE UPCOMING 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.
