The Division of Public Health recently launched a new sexually transmitted disease (STD) campaign to address the high STD rate in Sacramento County, especially focusing on gonorrhea and chlamydia.

The “Don’t Think. Know.” campaign targets women ages 15-24 who do not have access to a primary care doctor by allowing consumers to test for these STDs through a free test kit they can have mailed to them. The test includes a pre-paid, pre-addressed return pouch to send the test kit to the lab.
