Sac Cultural Hub Media Attends PG&E Multicultural Media Roundtable and 2025 Ethnic Media Expo & Awards
By Pleshette Robertson, Founder of Sac Cultural Hub Media Company & Chief Editor of THE HUB Magazine
Sac Cultural Hub Media was on the scene for the PG&E Multicultural Media Roundtable, held Friday, November 7, 2025, where ethnic media representatives from across California gathered to discuss critical issues impacting consumers and communities.

The event brought together multicultural publishers, broadcasters, and digital media leaders for a full day of learning, dialogue, and collaboration around energy education, consumer protection, and community engagement.
Representatives from PG&E, Consumer Action, and the U.S. Secret Service Cyber Fraud Task Force (Pleasant Hill Police Department) shared valuable information and resources on topics including:
- PG&E’s Rate and Bill Education programs
- Scams targeting PG&E customers and how to identify them
- Cyber fraud prevention strategies and how to protect personal and business information
Innovation Highlight: PG&E’s Drone Inspection Demonstration
A major highlight of the roundtable was the Aerial and Specialized Inspections Program demonstration, showcasing PG&E’s use of drone technology to inspect electrical infrastructure. This innovative program allows PG&E to assess transmission towers, poles, and other assets more safely, efficiently, and thoroughly — reducing risks for crews and enhancing service reliability for customers statewide.
Celebrating Excellence in Ethnic Media
Following the roundtable, attendees joined legislators, community leaders, and fellow journalists at the 2025 Ethnic Media Expo & Awards hosted at the PG&E Conference Center in Oakland. Presented by American Community Media (ACoM), the Expo celebrated outstanding journalism published by or aired on California-based ethnic media outlets — in both English and in-language platforms.

The event underscored the importance of diverse media voices in keeping communities informed, engaged, and empowered through storytelling that reflects lived experiences and cultural perspectives.
