“WE COME FROM GREATNESS” produced by Images Theatre Company

Don’t miss the theatre production of  “WE COME FROM GREATNESS,” conceived, written and directed by Images Theatre Company Executive Director, Lisa Lacy, with music/musical direction by Charles Cooper, and choreography by Grace O. Wash. This popular musical features an all-star local cast with well-known favorite vocalists, such as Bill Miller, Elaine Douglas, and many more.

Show times and dates runs for two-weekends from February 9 through February 19, 2017 on Thursdays through Sundays. Performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows are at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday shows at 3:00 p.m. at Grant Union High Theatre/Auditorium, located at 1400 Grand Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95838.

Tickets prices are General Admission/Adults, $22.00; Students (with I.D.)/Seniors (65 & above), $18.00, and Children (12 and under), $15.00. For THURSDAY SHOWS ONLY, there is special pricing of $15.00 per person. Also, group discounted tickets are available for groups of 15 or more persons.

“WE COME FROM GREATNESS” chronicles African-American history from African-Kingdoms, through the Civil Rights Movement, the election of President Obama and into current day. This unforgettable production uses original songs, music, drama, spoken-word and dance to honor and highlight the greatness from which African-Americans hailed, acknowledges their struggles as a people in America and celebrates their strength, courage and overall, progress.
