Black Marriage Day event

March 26

Black Marriage Day will be celebrated for the ninth year on Sat-3/26. It is
celebrated annually at locally sponsored events hosted by faith-based and community groups in March. Starting with only 30 cities in 2003, hundreds of local sponsors plan to celebrate Black Marriage Day 2011 to highlight the benefits of marriage, pay tribute to successful marriages, and to promote marriage in the Black Community. This year’s national celebration of marriage is themed “Married and Proud of It” in honor of those couples who daily demonstrate the benefit of strong marriages. After the movie there will be an A&Q then couple wedding renewal vows service and professional photo opportunity. read more
