10th Year Anniversary Celebration of the Exceptional Women of Color (EWOC) Conference

The Sac Cultural Hub Media Foundation is honored to make a special presentation of the EWOC Champion Award – Women to Watch to five individuals at the 10th Year Anniversary Celebration of the Exceptional Women of Color (EWOC) Conference.

Our EWOC Champions are five Black women in political leadership who are performing an exemplary job and going above and beyond to promote economic empowerment, social/health equity, fight for injustices, and building sustainable partnerships within communities of color that include: Senator Holly Mitchell, Mayor London Breed – City of San Francisco, Cat Brooks – 2018 Candidate for City of Oakland, Kimberly Ellis – Founder of Unbought-Unbossed, Genevieve Jones-Wright – Former Democratic candidate for San Diego County District. The EWOC Conference is taking place on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm taking place at the Dr. Ephraim Williams Family Life Center, 4036 14th Avenue in Sacramento.
