Nearly 20 years ago, Californians gained the opportunity to save and improve lives by registering as organ, eye, and tissue donors at the DMV. Since then, nearly 20 million people have chosen to give the gift of life.

Sierra Donor Services is your local nonprofit organization, serving 2.8 million people across 13 counties in Northern California and Nevada. Through the generosity of donors and their families, we help make second chances possible. One organ donor can save up to eight lives, and one tissue donor can improve the lives of up to 75 others.

We all have the power to make a difference for the 20,000 people in our state waiting for a transplant, especially for people of color, who make up 80% of that list.
