POWER, GREED, & LUST … be careful what you ask for! My sister recommended I watch this movie, "The Other Boleyn Girl", as she is so good with picking the best movies with a profound message and thrilling plot. So I purchased the DVD from Hollywood Video. I’m not a fan of renting movies. I like to buy movies and own them. Because I like to watch them over and over again. If you’re like me, you need to watch this movie in total silence with no noise. And that’s hard when you have a big family. But with me I tend to easily tune the family out and get into the movie as if no one else is even in the room.
So what makes it a good movie watch for a Sunday afternoon? Two loving sisters and brother relationship get torn apart and ruined by the likes of what their parents lusted for. It has incredible twists and is reiveting with what comes next. You will be amazed and aghast by the final ending. The betrayal, sibling rivalry, seduction and dangers of absolute power are the center of attraction of what make this movie totally captivating!
