Elton John was so moved with Alicia Keys’ opening acoustic piano number to kick off “The iHeart Living Room Concert for America” Sunday night that he wanted to sing his own song.
Problem is that John, who just turned 73, is self-isolating at a house not built for concerts, even home concerts.
“I have to be quarantined in the only house I have ever been in without a piano,” John said from a table in a lavishly decorated home.
Fortunately, John served as master of ceremonies as other performers sang in the concert that was live-streamed online and aired on Fox.
