Lauryn Hill will be released from jail today, Friday, October 4, and to celebrate she has released a new single, according to an article on Billboard.com.
Called “Consumerism,” the song was reportedly written before she was jailed and mixed while she was in prison. Hill was incarcerated for three months for tax evasion.
