History was made this year as the country’s biggest pageants were won by three black women: Miss America (Nia Franklin), Miss USA (Cheslie Kryst) and Miss Teen US (Kaliegh Garris).
But Kryst, the North Carolina lawyer who won Miss USA last week, told “CBS This Morning” on Tuesday there is still much to be done where diversity is concerned.
