REVIEW: Take Time To Try Tupi
I just discovered a great food and beverage place in Sacramento that’s worth a check-out.
Tupi offers the best cup of coffee I’ve had so far, The Moreno, to Midtown. I’m not exaggerating. I tried it both hot and iced. I don’t even like iced coffee beverages — I may prefer theirs to the piping hot goodness of the non-iced one.
If Tupi’s turkey sandwich I also tried is indicative of their menu, you can do some good eating there, too! Packed with veggies and adorned with a delicious spread, you’ll enjoy yourself. It’s on maybe the softest bun I’d ever had. Think a Hawaiian roll on acid. And they offer red meat and veggie versions.
Tupi’s spacious rooftop patio is shaded (which is critical for a rooftop patio in Sacramento) and and they offer ground level, street side seating, as well. I can already see myself tele-writing from that patio. They present DJs on Fridays and live music on Saturdays. They also offer a bar Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 5pm to 10pm with wine, beer, cocktails and Tapas.
I’m already planning a deeper dive into the menu over the summer. Say “Hi” if you see me there!
Tupi’s has two Sacramento locations. Check them out at Tupicoffee.com.
